Hong Kong’s innovation landscape is set for a significant leap forward with the launch of the Rocketing AI Co-incubation Programme, which focuses on leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies and fostering innovation in the AI sector.
This initiative, a collaboration between a leading global technology firm and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), is aimed at nurturing seven promising AI startups. These startups are focused on addressing a variety of industry-specific challenges in sectors such as healthcare, finance and creative media.
The Rocketing AI Co-incubation Programme is designed to provide the selected startups with extensive support to accelerate their growth and innovation. The programme offers up to US$ 350,000 in cloud credits, HK$ 1.29 million in funding, and research and development resources. Additionally, HKSTP will provide infrastructure and investor matching services, while the startups will also receive dedicated mentorship from both the technology firm and HKSTP’s startup success teams. This comprehensive support is intended to help these startups navigate the competitive global market and achieve their ambitious goals.

Smart Workstation Tool: Designed to enhance the efficiency of factory inspectors, this tool introduces AI technology into manufacturing processes. It aims to improve operational efficiency and prepare factories for future technological advancements.
Financial Analysis Platform: This platform focuses on making financial analysis more accessible. It visualises causal relationships and their impacts, providing actionable insights that aid in investment decisions and financial planning.
Funding Access Platform: Targeted at small businesses, this service simplifies the process of obtaining grants, loans, and other forms of financing. It leverages generative AI and automation to streamline the funding experience, making it easier for businesses to secure the resources they need.
AI Health and Wellness Platform: This platform uses advanced technology to enhance physical well-being. It offers AI-guided workouts and wellness solutions, making health and fitness more accessible and affordable for a broader audience.
Privacy-Enhancing Tech Solutions: This startup specialises in fintech, AI, and Web3 and provides products and services that focus on secure data management and computation. It uses advanced privacy technologies to ensure the protection of sensitive information.
Reproductive Healthcare Innovation: This startup is developing a miniaturised diagnostic device for semen detection. By using AI and sophisticated optical and microfluidic technologies, it aims to provide cost-effective and preliminary diagnostic screenings for reproductive health.
The Rocketing AI Co-incubation Programme will culminate in a Graduation Ceremony cum Demo Day in 2025. At this event, the startups will present their solutions to key industry stakeholders, showcasing the impact of their innovations.
