A new partnership between HKPC Academy and Zhongshan Whampoa International Education (ZWIE) aims to revolutionise Technology Education (TechEd) in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), both institutions are poised to elevate the landscape of TechEd by integrating Chinese cultural education with cutting-edge technological advancements. This partnership aims to gear young minds in the GBA towards TechEd while nurturing a new generation of innovative talent poised to meet the demands of the future.
At the core of this collaboration lies the commitment to organise a myriad of courses, seminars, and exhibitions tailored to enrich the TechEd experience within the GBA. Leveraging ZWIE’s extensive educational network and HKPC’s expertise in innovation and technology (I&T), the partnership endeavours to disseminate professional knowledge across the region, effectively nurturing a pool of skilled individuals primed to drive technological innovation forward.
The Academy, renowned for its dedication to fostering I&T talent, will spearhead a series of TechEd training programmes tailored for students and educators alike in the GBA. With the guidance of HKPC experts, these initiatives will delve into various technological domains such as aerospace technology, robotics, 3D printing, programming, and virtual reality (VR) technology. Furthermore, educators will be introduced to innovative educational technologies (EdTech) aimed at enhancing digital literacy and elevating the quality of education delivery within the region.
